A diet is considered as the pattern that makes a person in the normal consumption of their food, to obtain favorable results in health.

Many believe that by following a diet , food is restricted, however, that is wrong. A diet should be adapted to each person, always depend on their age, weight, sex and health situation. Diets are not only used to lose weight , but also serve as treatment and prevention for different diseases.

A Balanced Diet to Lose Weight

The dish of good eating is considered as a balanced diet consisting of:

  • Identification of food groups (fruits and vegetables, cereals and tubers, legumes and animal foods)
  • The combination and variation of the feed
  • The selection of daily menus with the three food groups
  • The contribution of energy and nutrients through the correct diet

It is important to follow the diet imposed by a Nutriologist because as already mentioned each diet is different for anyone. The specialist is the ideal for this, since it is the one who spends his time in analyzing the food groups in order to elaborate the correct combinations depending on each patient.
