The biology of human reproduction, is responsible for studying bio-medical problems of human reproductive function. It supports different disciplines such as reproductive endocrinology, infertility and mechanisms of hormone action at the molecular level, human embryology and especially everything related to the biological process of fertilization, pre implantation and embryo implantation and how alteration of these processes affect the appearance of reproductive disorders.

It is also responsible for the mechanisms that regulate sexual differentiation, effectiveness, side effects and dosage of pharmacological agents used in the regulation of fertility, and the effects of exposure to various environmental insults in-placental-fetal maternal unit and on human fertility.
