Cervical cancer is one that occurs on the surface of the cervix, in the inside of the matrix, the bottom of the womb (uterus). The vast majority of cervical cancers are from the human papillomavirus (HPV). Also, other factors that can affect the appearance of this cancer:
- Not be vaccinated against HPV.
- Engaging in sexual intercourse at an early age.
- Having multiple sexual partners.
- A large number of births.
