The orofacial pain is discomfort caused by mouth and face injuries. These impulses are sent to the brain via the trigeminal nerve. The pain may be mucosal, dental or chewing, depending on the source where it is produced. The mucous orofacil pain usually caused by snuff, alcohol or dentures, dental decay originates and chewing, more common in women, is related to bruxism, joint injuries and loss of teeth.
