The lipoma is a benign tumor of cells of fat tissue that can occur in any organ of the body but especially commonly found in the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Typically, lipomas grow slowly, they are soft and extraction occurs easily. At first, these lipomas are small, and usually occur in adults, but they can augmentar up more than 6 centimeters.
