A stent is a tube-shaped device that is placed inside blood vessels in order to get strengthen and keep open the concrete wall of glass that is damaged or required. A stent (cardiac, coronary or aorta) has a composition and mesh-like plastic or metal look: a coronary stent or cardiac stent is the one that is placed into an artery after performing balloon angioplasty to prevent conclusion thereof; aortic stents are used to treat aneurysms or aortic dilation. To place an operation in which a flexible tube is inserted through a small incision in the groin, advancing it through the femoral artery into the aorta, and then to the aneurysm where the stent is placed is performed.
